Sapphire Digital is looking for a Project Coordinator/ Solution Train Engineer, a critical role in understanding the performance of multiple Client Delivery Team, including their velocity, capacity, blockers, and issue management. She/he will work directly with the functional management of the Configuration, Quality Assurance, and Implementation Managers to consolidate reporting against company success metrics and the client release schedule. She/he will be responsible for ensuring team capacity is balanced to allow for the teams to perform at their highest capacity and drive relentless improvement.

In this position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the various Scrum teams
  • Tracking and analyzing team performance over the course of sprints and release cycles to determine team velocity, cadence, and issues with work completion
  • Producing executive dashboards and reports to communicate the health of the teams to leadership; creates and maintains any additional documentation to improve the teams’ performance metrics
  • Creating and maintaining of the JIRA Portfolio release plans and supporting metrics
  • Communicating directly with stakeholders (Configuration, Quality Assurance, Implementation management) to escalate risk, resolve impediments and drive relentless improvement
  • Managing and optimizing the value and work load of teams through the use of various tools, including but not limited to: JIRA, Portfolio, Kanban Boards
  • Adhering to the client release calendar, coordinating across multiple disciplines and their work cycles (configuration, QA, engineering, data services) to ensure dependencies are identified and scheduled in a priority order
  • Encouraging collaboration and coordinate periodic synchronization meetings with the appropriate team members
  • Driving relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops, addressing areas of improvement across teams
  • Understanding the Sapphire Digital product suite

  • Demonstrates high-level technical understanding of business requirements as they pertain to Lean and Agile methodologies, Project Management principles, and the software engineering project lifecycle
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating, including experience presenting to work effort participants, stakeholders and all levels of management
  • Proven track record meeting project timelines and successfully delivering work packages on time
  • Proven track record of managing project teams to meet aggressive timelines and requirement targets
  • Self-starter and ability to work in a faced paced, start-up/entrepreneurial environment with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think creatively and have an innovative mindset

  • To perform this job successfully, this individual should have knowledge of expert knowledge of: Google, JIRA, Portfolio and SalesForce
  • Essential to have fluency with Microsoft Office Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
