Sapphire Digital is seeking a Product Manager who will be involved in the research, delivery and analysis related to building and enhancing features for our CareSelect and Smartshopper products. 

In this position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Working with the UX team to ideate on user flows or experiences for a feature and conduct and compile insights from user testing and iterate to meet goals
  • Writing thorough specification/user stories and work with the development team to build out features, phasing the approach, and testing along the way
  • Applying product development methodology to projects; these projects begin by gathering input from our stakeholders, including clients/buyers (health plans), sales team and our consumers
  • Analyzing and evaluating site analytics data as it pertains to new ideas to prioritize actionable items
  • Collaborating with QA team to test created features
  • Working with configuration team to define configuration settings
  • Interacting with and presenting product concepts to groups of internal stakeholders and current or prospective customers
  • Partnering with implementation & services team to roll out features to customers
  • Managing processes and workflows within the product team (e.g., client request process, client ideas portal); identifing the gaps in order to devise plans effectively
  • Gathering requirements and creating competitive analysis matrices
  • Anticipating and resolving implementation challenges of particular features or feature sets
  • Compiling and analyzing data on user engagement and adoption

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field from four-year college or university
  • 6 – 9 years in software product management with a demonstrated set of experiences along the product management continuum in increasingly complex capacities
  • Product management and/or UX training, a plus Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to research, quickly understand, and synthesize complex, often technical problems and then articulate them into simple and clearly understood requirements and documentation
  • Adept at engaging with high-level business problems and understanding the strategic market position of a new product enhancement, looking at competitors in the space, and applying knowledge of best practices and solutions from other industries
  • Confident and polished presenter who can deftly handle a group of people (peers, leaders, clients, customers) asking tough questions on the spot
  • Strategic mindset to offer creative and thoughtful solutions, incorporating influx of feedback from various sources
  • Expert communication skills, effectively achieving goals within a cross-functional setting
  • Proven track record of building relationships and influencing important clients and internal stakeholders, setting and managing expectations and creating consensus across diverse groups on increasingly complex projects
  • Excellent in multi-tasking in a high-volume, goal-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with standard office tools including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Jira/Confluence, Balsamiq/wireframing apps, Google Analytics or other analytics tools to understand user experience data
  • Experience with Agile-Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with health care industry a plus
